Ensuring Trust, Delivering Insight
At Fiander ETL, our Audit & Assurance team plays a vital role in helping businesses, charities, schools, pension schemes, and other regulated entities maintain transparency, accuracy, and compliance. We combine technical expertise with a deep understanding of client operations to provide more than just a statutory check—we offer insights that help clients improve controls, reduce risk, and make informed decisions.
Our team works across sectors, ensuring every audit is thorough, timely, and adds tangible value to the organisations we serve. Whether it’s a small business, a large charity, or a multi-site school, our focus is on clarity, precision, and trust.

A Day in the Life
A typical day in Audit & Assurance is varied and hands-on. It might start with reviewing a client’s financial records, checking reconciliations, and sampling transactions to ensure accuracy. Throughout the day, team members liaise with client finance teams to clarify discrepancies, assess internal controls, and identify potential areas of improvement.
In addition, the team prepares audit reports, discusses findings with senior auditors, and presents actionable recommendations to clients. For larger engagements, a day could include coordinating with tax, accounting, and advisory teams to ensure a fully integrated approach. No two days are the same—every client presents unique challenges and opportunities to learn and make an impact.
